The American Muslim Senior Society empowers the county's diverse 55+ caregivers by giving them access to culturally sensitive tools and resources to improve their quality of life and give them the opportunity to live with dignity in their communities. AMSS focuses on isolated, under-served, and marginalized members.

FIRST ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION
AMSS conducted its first roundtable discussion on Monday 9, 11, 2023, in the county executive building to lay the foundation for the development of effective action plans and implementation strategies, and to plan for a second roundtable discussion to identify collaborative partners.
AMSS is thankful for the support from all participants for their valuable feedback and input.

The American Muslim Senior Society is thrilled to embark on a meaningful journey with the Asian American Health Initiative (AAHI) and Primary Care Coalition (PCC) on the Community Health Program. The Health and Social Support Services program will offer culturally sensitive services to Indonesian and Afghan refugees as well as older adults to improve their overall health and enhance their access to healthcare services.
