AMSS is honored and pleased to have recently celebrated our 3rd year anniversary with the community at large. Thanks to your support and to AMSS dedicated Ambassadors, we have provided to date 300 isolated older and disabled persons and caregivers, with nutritious food as well as, county and community services and support. We have also empowered 40 young multi-cultural community members with scholarships and opportunities for employment. To help us continue our mission of reaching out to the most vulnerable members of our community, AMSS is appealing to your hearts and souls, to:
Continue to provide nutritious food to AMSS growing numbers of community members in need.
Provide our client members in financial crises with temporary support for emergency shelters, medical care, funeral expenses, and other emerging needs.
Bring hope, new careers, and financial security for 60 new young applicants for our Certified Nursing Assistant Scholarship and Employment program(CNA).
Help AMSS acquire a food pantry for countywide distribution.
Purchase a mini-van to deliver emergency food and provide our clients with transportation services.
Help us start the planning for a much-needed Assisted Living facility.
